Andy Warhol Vintage ‘Querelle’ Original Film Poster, 1983

Rare Andy Warhol 1983 first edition film designed poster for Rainer Werner Fassbinder’s final film ‘Querelle’.  This piece is an off cut of the original poster contained in a  navy blue frame 

Based on Jean Genet’s iconic novel, both the book and film are considered LGBT+ classics. with its vivid colour and raunchy illustration Warhol perfectly emulated a cinematic classic to a still storytelling piece of artwork. 

Small scratching to the frame easily camouflaged within the shine of the frame (please view pictures for reference)
